Property Maintenance Supervisor

We are hiring in both our Troy and Saratoga Locations!

A Property Facility Manager is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility.

Role and Responsibilities

  • General maintenance of buildings including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, light carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
  • Respond to work orders and resolve resident requests within 24 hours.
  • Hands-on work of all building repairs, preventative maintenance and general upkeep of building and property with special attention to more involved operations.
  • Maintain exterior grounds and common areas in quality, presentable condition.
  • Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems.
  • Fixing safety hazards to avoid injuries.
  • Responsible to maintain vehicle- (where applicable)property Property Facility

Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Finance team as a Senior Accountant, responsible for West Side Management’s managed properties’ general accounting and financial reporting functions.

  • Prepare monthly financials and annual budgets for West Side Management’s managed properties
  • Monthly posting of journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, debt monitoring, variance measurements, and other financial performance detailing
  • Interface with management, team members, property owners, property tenants, and vendors
  • Management of vendor payments
  • Communications with Board Members
  • Back up for other positions in the Finance department
  • Provide supervisory guidance for some teammates as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of accounting and/or relevant work experience
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to learn accounting software systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently, in a faced paced environment
  • Outgoing personality and positive attitude
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and staff
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail


Collaborates with employees concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.

· Builds, dismantles, and repairs structures, walls, roofs, glass, and siding as assigned.

· Operates all necessary tools to complete a job.

· Prepares and dismantles scaffolding as needed.

· Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.

· May perform painting as needed.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.


Skills and Qualifications:

· Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to draw accurate sketches to communicate the specifications for projects.

· Ability to take accurate measurements and calculations.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.

· Must be able to squat, lift, stretch, and bend to reach all areas of the facility.

· Must be able to work in and on overhead structures, as well as below machinery
